The 2011 'Ennis on the Madison' Fly Fishing Festival
will be held Friday, Sept. 2 & Saturday, Sept. 3.
9 am - 1 pmKids' Program: Fly Casting & Fly-tying Instruction
How can you tell the difference between a rainbow trout, a cutthroat and a brookie? Kids can learn about trout and how to cast a fly rod.
Our friends Jen and Tylor from Blue Ribbon Flies in West Yellowstone will tutor beginning fly casting and Madison Watershed Coordinator
Sunni Heikes-Knapton will conduct classes on trout ID.

1 pm - 2 pmAwakening your Inner Pixel
Professional photographer Ken Hall will lead his always popular class on how to take
visually stunning images of the Madison Valley. Learn how to wow your friends.

Holger Schaarschmidt is a licensed guide in New Zealand who now lives in Bozeman. His slide show will reveal the beauty and secrets of fly fishing Down Under.

FFF Certified casting instructor Ford Rollo will conduct a class for beginners to accomplished anglers and focus on how
to fish, not just cast, a fly line. Come for some first-hand fly-casting instruction. Especially for beginners and intermediates.
We'll get you started, or work out some of your kinks or help you better understand the mechanics of the wonderful art
of fly-casting and catching fish!

Fly-tying professionals will be demonstrating their fly-tying techniques
while providing informal instruction and entertaining banter. Don't miss it!

3 pm - 4 pmMadison Fly Swap: Trade Your Favorite Patterns
Bring your favorite flies and swap them with your friends and fellow anglers. Our friends at
the Tackle Shop will provide free flyboxes!

4 pm - 5 pmNymph Fishing Top to Bottom
Mike Lawson of Henry's Fork Anglers is simply an institution. His angling insights and
tips are invaluable. This year Mike takes us nymphing from top to bottom. You cannot pay for information like this!
